Welcome to DC Stop Smoking Center®, a Leslie-Cam® Stop Smoking Center affiliate, and the region’s only clinic to utilize the Leslie-Cam® auriculotherapy procedure for smoking cessation. Leslie-Cam® has treated well over 50,000 patients since opening its doors in 1991.
Auriculotherapy treatment was first introduced by UCLA in the 1950s. We have modified it to specifically treat smoking cessation. Once a habitual smoker, I utilized this therapy to help overcome my daily dependency on cigarettes. Nicotine was indeed ruling my life and auriculotherapy made it possible to once and for all stop smoking.

Realizing the high costs and health issues associated with smoking, Roger D. Leslie, MD, and I founded a clinic in St Louis, MO, to help others eliminate their nicotine dependency and to help save lives. Over the years, we have greatly improved this therapy and offer the most effective method found anywhere to treat nicotine addiction.

I am proud to share my knowledge with Dan & Cherlyn McGhee of DC Stop Smoking Center® in Grand Junction, CO. I have personally trained Dan & Cherlyn on the Leslie-Cam® procedure and have full confidence that they will enjoy the same success helping smokers and nicotine users in Grand Junction and Colorado.

My background includes in-depth studies of the sciences related to addiction and endocrinology. This includes a BSC degree from St. Francis Xavier University in Nova Scotia, Canada, and an MS from Boston College. I have also been part of a scientific team at the Harvard Research Labs in Boston, MA.

Roger D. Leslie, MD, is Board Certified in Internal Medicine. He formerly practiced with St. Louis Internists at St. John’s Mercy Health Care and served as an instructor in Clinical Medicine for the hospital. Dr. Leslie received his undergraduate degree from the University of Dayton and his medical degree from St. Louis University Medical School.
